Are you a mother raising Jewish children ... but you're not Jewish? Don't do it alone!

High Holiday Highlights Holiday Prep Class, a unique free, fun, and interactive session that will prepare parents who are new to Judaism to celebrate Rosh Hashanah and honor Yom Kippur in a meaningful way with their families, is coming to Port Washington! With class activities ranging from learning to recite the Rosh Hashanah blessings to listening to Leonard Cohen’s “Who By Fire?” (a comparison to the Rosh Hashanah prayer, “Unetanah Tokef”), High Holiday Highlights will help participants of all learning styles understand how both individuals and the community as a whole experience the High Holiday period in the synagogue and in the home.

The Mothers Circle provides FREE education and support for women of other religious backgrounds who are raising Jewish children. Mothers Circle: The Course is now available in Port Washington, NY! Come be a part of this warm and nurturing environment and feel empowered to take on the responsibility of raising children in Judaism. Mothers in all family constellations are welcome and participants do not have to be affiliated with a Jewish institution or have any prior knowledge. Please join us!
