families with children ages 4-8 who wish to explore
Jewish holidays and values, primarily held at various
JCC branches, including Leventhal-Sidman JCC in Newton,
the Striar JCC in Stoughton, and in conjunction with
the Metrowest JCC in Framingham. CJI programs also
periodically take place at other local venues, such
as bookstores and craft stores. During the workshops,
which are conducted in warm, welcoming environments,
families join together to create Judaica family heirlooms,
participate in storytelling, music, or dance events,
and take part in eating special event-related snacks.
Informational materials are available for families
to bring home to continue learning more about Jewish
traditions and life.
