NEW BEGINNINGS - a 5-6 week process group (meets 1x weekly) which
is offered immediately following the Intro class to discuss issues
dealing with conversion and the feelings/issues/conflicts, etc. that
come along with them;
SHALOM SQUAD - welcomes members and non-members alike to Temple, also
have a group starting to work on helping "solos" who attend services
by themselves;
OUTREACH FELLOW CERTIFICATION - The chair of our Outreach committee
has be certified through the UAHC;
MIKVAH BASKETS - give a wonderful gift when someone converts, which
includes a variety of items from things needed for Shabbat (challah
cover, etc.) to a book about holidays to a Jewish Cookbook to information
about the community and more;
KAVOD HA-GER (Honoring the Convert) - as part of conversion, offering
(as an option) to be recognized at a Friday night service by opening
the ark and receiving a blessing as a public way of welcoming a new
Jew By Choice to the congregation
